I am currently the youth collection development librarian for the New Orleans Public Library, so I have what I think is the best library job: buying books (physical and electronic) and AV materials for kids and teens. I earned my Masters of Library and Information Science from Louisiana State University in 2014.
I maintain my membership in the American Library Association, and am active in the Rainbow Round Table, and the Graphic Novels & Comics Round Table.
In my more “extracurricular” library work, I am also a regular book reviewer for Publishers Weekly, content editor for NoFlyingNoTights.com, and a contributor to NOLA Family Magazine. I was a 2025 Judge for the Will Eisner Comics Industry Awards.
